In Scripture Abraham is thought of as one of the most faithful figures in the Old Testament.  But what does his beliefs and actions tell us about what faith truly is?  Fr. Rob outlines two aspects of faith--the willingness to risk and the belief in God's plan over our own objections--in this podcast, which is a recording of the sermon preached at Trinity Episcopal Church in Lawrence, Kansas on February 24, 2013.

People are told many reasons why they should attend church, usually on the grounds that bad things will happen to you if you don't.  Ash Wednesday, in a roundabout way, reminds us of a good reason to go to church.  Fr. Rob Baldwin explains what that is, along with a odd reference to "Driving Miss Daisy" in this podcast which is a recording of his sermon preached at Trinity Episcopal Church in Lawrence, Kansas on February 13, 2013.

Transfiguration Sunday stands on the cusp between the seasons of Epiphany and Lent, and appropriately so because we move from seeing Jesus' revelation as the son of God to the disciples to an interest in our own transformation in Lenten season.  This podcast is a recording of the sermon preached by the Rev. Rob Baldwin on February 10, 2013 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Lawrence, Kansas.
