On Palm Sunday, the crowds play a central role to both the Palm Sunday procession into Jerusalem and the Passion story that follows in our Palm Sunday liturgy.  But how do we understand that role, and their change, especially as it applies to our own relatonship to those events?  And how did Fr. Rob's fasting turn out this Lenten season.  This podcast is a recording of the sermon preached by the Rev. Rob Baldwin on Palm Sunday, March 24, 2013 at the 6:00 PM service at Trinty Episcopal Church in Lawrence, Kansas.

When Jesus visited the home of Mary and Martha in Bethany, Mary annointed Jesus' feet with costly perfume.  But she also had a moment of complete connection and closeness to God, what could be called "The Holy Now."  This podcast is a recording of the sermon preached by the Rev. Susan Terry at the 6:00 PM service on March 17, 2013 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Lawrence, Kansas.

The focus on the Prodigal Son leaves out the son that Jesus intended his audience to identify with--a faithful, mostly obedient son who struggles with his father's willingness to forgive people.  Today, many of us share in that struggle.  This podcast is a recording of the sermon preached by the Rev. Rob Baldwin on March 10, 2013 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Lawrence, Kansas.

This last Sunday was "Brown Bag Sermon Day" when Fr. Rob answers questions from the congregation.  There were many questions at the 10:30 service, including "why should Anglicans care about who becomes the new Pope?" and "what is one thing you wish Trinity had?"  You can learn more about Trinity Church by going to www.trinitylawrence.org or by following us on Facebook.
